Hair

I don't get my hair done as often as I'd like.
I am a mom of 5 after all, but that isn't even a valid excuse. Since my lovely husband is always offering to watch the kiddos.
I think Ive just run out of ideas! Since I have done pretty much everything to my hair and coloured it every colour of the rainbow.

 

I knew it was time to do something when even after washing and styling it, my frustration at its limp state had me throwing my hands up.
So off to the salon I went, with no idea what to ask for.

After pinning about, 100 hairstyles and hair colours on Pinterest, I'd made up my mind. 

I decided to go for a more subtle variation of an ombre with lot's of layers. 

I know, I'm so wild and crazy!

So, after 3 hours in the salon chair, I ended up with this.

It's not so much as a drastic change, as a change enough in my world.

In my world of carpooling 5 children, making lunches, nursing a baby, handling a temperamental 2 year old, grocery shopping, helping with homework and countless loads of laundry...

I need one thing that is low maintenance in my life!

So, there you have it.

It is actually way more noticeable in "real life", but just barely.

I'm happy with it and am thinking I may go even blonder the next time I pay a visit to the salon.
